Job Title: Legal Intern 

Job Summary: The Legal Intern supports the company's overall legal function, including reviewing and acting on documents or warrants received from police officers, coordinating with relevant law enforcement authorities, researching legal matters relevant to the company's business to support the preparation of legal opinions or responses, and reviewing and preparing various legal documents — all to help ensure the company's operations are conducted accurately and in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify documents or notices received from law enforcement authorities, and coordinate with the relevant officers to ensure proper handling and compliance with the required legal procedures.
  • Conduct legal research on regulations and laws applicable to the Company's business operations, for the purpose of supporting legal opinions or responding to legal inquiries as assigned.
  • Review, prepare, and compile legal documents as assigned, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field, or a recent graduate in a relevant discipline.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the financial services, payments, or FinTech industry will be an advantage.
