KGP and OSMEP Launch Pilot Program to Accelerate SME Growth in the Digital Economy, Offering Up to THB 2,000 in Payment Fee Rebates

Kasikorn Global Payment Co., Ltd. (KGP), in collaboration with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), has launched the pilot program “Growing Thai SMEs Together” to support Thai SME entrepreneurs with access to efficient digital payment solutions. The initiative aims to help reduce operating costs, enhance flexibility in selling products and services online, and strengthen SMEs’ competitiveness in Thailand’s continuously expanding e-Commerce market.

According to data from the World Bank and KResearch, Thailand’s e-Commerce market is projected to reach THB 847 billion in 2026. At the same time, more than 99% of businesses in Thailand are SMEs, many of which continue to seek technology solutions that can help reduce operating costs and respond to evolving consumer behavior, particularly the growing preference for seamless digital payments. The collaboration between KGP and OSMEP aims to create greater opportunities for SME entrepreneurs to access payment solutions that align with today’s consumer behavior while supporting sustainable business growth.

Ms. Sirirat Thiengtham, Managing Director of Kasikorn Global Payment Co., Ltd. (KGP), said that KGP places strong importance on supporting SMEs, which form a vital foundation of the economy. She emphasized that sustainable support goes beyond providing short-term benefits; it should also give entrepreneurs access to technologies and tools that can be practically applied to develop and grow their businesses. The collaboration with OSMEP therefore represents another important step in helping Thai SMEs reduce their operating costs while enhancing their business capabilities in the digital era.

Dr. Panita Chinnawat, Deputy Director and Acting Director of OSMEP, added that OSMEP is committed to enabling entrepreneurs to access tools and knowledge that can tangibly enhance their competitiveness. The collaboration with KGP will provide SME entrepreneurs with access to an efficient payment system alongside opportunities to strengthen their business capabilities, helping them capitalize on growth opportunities in the digital economy. 

Under the “Growing Thai SMEs Together” pilot program, KGP is offering a payment fee rebate for the first three full months of service, worth up to THB 2,000 in total, to the first 100 new merchants who are SME ONE ID members of OSMEP and successfully apply for and activate the service in accordance with the program’s terms and conditions.

KGP’s payment solutions support a wide range of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, PromptPay QR, mobile banking, Payment Links+, e-Wallet, installment payments, and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), all supported by international security standards. SME entrepreneurs interested in the program can check their eligibility and apply for the “Growing Thai SMEs Together” program via the SME CONNEXT application from October 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, or until the allocated benefits have been fully claimed.
